Eligibility and Guidelines

OJJDP allocates funds to qualifying states based on the number of juveniles below the age of criminal responsibility. Units of local government (city, county, township, or other political subdivision) can apply to their states, which award Community Prevention Grants Program funds through a competitive process. Programs may be  funded in 12-month increments for up to 3 years.

Title V Guideline describes the Community Prevention Grants Program and its application requirements.

Q & A Guide to the Community Prevention Grants Program provides answers to frequently asked questions about the program.
