Applicants Sought for OJJDP Gang Prevention Coordination Assistance Program

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) invites applications from public agencies and private organizations, including faith-based and community organizations, under its FY 2008 Gang Prevention Coordination Assistance Program.

The program provides funding to enhance coordination of Federal, state, and local resources in support of community partnerships implementing two or more of the following antigang strategies: primary prevention, secondary prevention, gang intervention, and gang enforcement.

The application deadline is June 13, 2008, and applicants should register with Grants.gov as early as possible to prevent delays in submitting their applications by the deadline.
