The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) announces the availability of “OJJDP News @ a Glance,” July/August 2009. The bimonthly newsletter provides readers with news about OJJDP activities, publications, funding opportunities, and events.

This issue's lead article features a report with recommendations for enhancing the dependency court process for American Indian/Alaska Native children. The issue also includes articles on the following subjects, among others:

• OJJDP's National Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws Conference

• a field trip by tribal youth to the Oregon Statehouse funded by OJJDP's Tribal Youth Program

• delegations from Brazil, Spain, and the United Kingdom visiting OJJDP.
