OJJDP Announces 2010 National Missing Children's Day Poster Contest

September 22, 2009

National Winner 2009 Missing Children's Day Poster Contest

Each year, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) sponsors a poster contest for fifth-grade students designed to raise awareness of the problem of missing children. The contest also provides teachers with tools to inform children and parents about ways to address it.

The theme for the 2010 contest is “Bring Our Missing Children Home.” The national winner, who will be selected from among the state winners, will be announced at the Department of Justice's Missing Children's Day Ceremony, scheduled for May 25, 2010.
