The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) announces the availability of “OJJDP News @ a Glance,” September/October 2009. The bimonthly newsletter provides readers with news about OJJDP activities, publications, resources, and events.

This issue's lead article features the release of the OJJDP Bulletin “Children's Exposure to Violence: A Comprehensive National Survey,” which summarizes findings from the National Survey of Children's Exposure to Violence, the most comprehensive study of this topic to date. The issue also includes articles on the following subjects, among others:

• the more than $147 million in Recovery Act funds awarded by OJJDP
• the Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention's cciTools for Federal Staff
• the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges' publication “The Model Court Effect: Proven Strategies in Systems' Change.”
