- The female juvenile arrest rate for arson increased sharply between 1991 and 1994 (68%).
- Since reaching a peak in 1994, the male juvenile arrest rate for arson declined (40%) through 2007, while the female juvenile rate declined (39%) through 2002 and then increased (21%) through 2006, before it declined (23%) in 2007 .
