- Arrest rates for liquor law violations declined equally for male (35%) and female (34%) juveniles between 1990 and 1993. Since 1993, both rates experienced periods of growth and decline. In 2005, the male rate reached its lowest point since at least 1980 and then increased slightly through 2007. The female rate in 2007 was 49% above its 1993 lowpoint.
- In 2007, the juvenile female arrest rate for liquor law violations was 38% above its 1980 level, but the male rate was 33% below the level in 1980.
