Presents statistics on delinquency cases resulting in probation in 2005. Probation supervision was the most severe disposition in 33 percent of all delinquency cases. The number of cases placed on probation increased 29 percent between 1985 and 2005. Property offense cases made up the greatest proportion of the probation caseload. This Fact Sheet is based on the report Juvenile Court Statistics 2005.
